Sunday Service Snapshot

..as spoken through the mediumship of Rev Alan Holmes, Sep 2019

...Service, the highest calling for every Soul.  The awakening of the spiritual mind through physical form expressing itself, beyond the needs of the personal self, is the hallmark of a Soul in Service.  To touch one Soul in this life, to give of oneself with no thought of a return act, is an evolved expression of Soul.  Soul to Soul. To aid a Soul to find its way - from drudgery and desperation to hope, from hope to inspiration and from inspiration to expression -  is never a fruitless task.  We ask that you take on this task, become the givers of hope.  Every act of kindness can set in motion, in others, a sense of connection to all life so they take the warmth of the spiritual light that has touched them, and willingly, lovingly and unselfishly, pass it on to others.  This is how to make a better world.  Compassion, Forgiveness, Love.

I Want To Change The World

Author Unknown, 1100AD

...When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.  I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.

...When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.

...Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation..

...and I could indeed have changed the world.
